I just have to remember that everyday is always a spontaneous event and nothing ever is foreseen. Tryin my best to live in the moment and in the now. Lets make the best of it! Inspired to go the distance and making everything in my sight magically delicious! (yes, I did quote lucky charms.)

I’m not perfect

I become weak mentally

I don’t have a college degree

I don’t have a luxury car

I have my faults

I lie at times

I can stress on the littlest things

I get jeolous at times’

I make mistakes

However…

I work to become strong mentally

I progress to earn that degree

I don’t care for that luxury car

I assess my faults

I’m honest most of the time

I refocus my thoughts

I acknowledge my mistakes and learn not to regret

I am forever “A Work in Progress.”

Yeah it’s that kind of day in the 209. Man do I miss my hometown and family. So good to be back. 

I really miss how music used to be. Like New jack swing, and ol skool R&B. It’s sad that artists have succumb to the bullshit 3 note tone. Quality of music these days has really gone down. Whatever happened to artists such as Intro, Kut Klose, Changing Faces, Mint Condition, Al B Sure, Christopher Williams, Subway, Troop, L.T.D, etc etc??…. These artists knew how to rendition true R&B/New Jack Swing. Literally though, lyrically songs back then just made sense. Hell, even the rap game was more sophisticated than today’s general 4 bar beat producing 3 word speakin music. Real creativity has definitely gone, but I’m reassured, someone will bring it back up.

Why does fried chicken sound so good right now?

There are times where I wonder on why the hell I do this or why the hell I’m still sticking with that…. but I think I’m come to the conclusion that life is boring without the knowledge of knowing what if? I mean, nowadays our minds tend to wander around like no other and depending on who influences us socially, we all tend to be fuckin nosy. I mean comon, who doesnt want to be in the know? In all honesty, it may be good to be in the know, but ask yourself this…what if instead of being nosy in the drama shit, why not be nosy in the simple curiosities of life (such as what I can I do to be better myself or what can I do to learn more about something I really dont know) and see how much more happier and a real life person you become. Just a couple of thoughts for the night.

Caught up and went to church with my sister in Northridge today. Its good to know that although she has her problems, she’s learning, growing, and adapting to all the situations and predicaments that life is throwing at her. I’m actually proud seeing her grow up as a responsible adult. On a side note, the church we ended up going to called, “Lady of Lourdes,” has Joy Bisco as one of there readers !!! (you know the girl from the debut) Now if only “Rufio” (Dante Basco) could come down from the balcony of the church and do the same. Overall, I guess you can say that God has his reasons for us being at certain places at certain times.
